    IMPORTANT NOTICE!

    SB 854 requires ALL contractors, including subcontractors, to register with the Department of Industrial Relations prior to bidding on public works projects. This registration on the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Union School District website does not fulfill that requirement. For more information regarding SB 854 requirements, .

    In addition, contractors and M/E/P subcontractors are required to pre-qualify for certain bidding opportunities. Any bid that requires pre-qualification will specify those requirements in the Notice Inviting Bids. CUPCCAA registration on the District website is NOT the same as pre-qualification.

    NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS TO BE INCLUDED ON THE
    СÀ¶ÊÓƵ UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT'S
    LIST OF QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS
    PER SECTION 22034 OF THE PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE

    The СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Union School District has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Act Procedures. The School District is inviting all licensed contractors to submit information for inclusion on the District's list of qualified bidders for the 2024 calendar year.

    This Notice requires contractors to provide the name and address to which a Notice to Contractors or Request for Bids or Proposals should be mailed, a telephone number and type of work in which the contractor is interested in and currently licensed to perform, together with the class of contractor's license(s) held and contractor's license number(s).

    The District may create a new contractor's list, effective January 1st of each year. СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Union School District may include any contractor's name it desires on the contractor's list, but must include, at a minimum, all contractors who have properly provided the District with the required information, either during the calendar year in which the list is valid or during November or December of the prior year.

    A contractor may have their firm added to the District's contractor list at any time by completing and submitting the registration form available online.
