Dear Avocado Students and Families,
On behalf of the staff at Avocado Elementary School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year and our Gator Nation! It’s a great time to be a Gator!
This year marks my 3rd year at Avocado and my 22nd year in education! I have known since I was in 6th grade that I would be in education and have enjoyed positions as an elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. Regardless of my role, my philosophy on education has always remained the same, that all students can and will learn, in their own time and space, they just need an adult that cares.
My top priorities are keeping our students and staff safe, happy, and healthy and I am committed to ensuring a responsive school climate where every student has ample opportunities to thrive.
I believe that a strong partnership with our families can make a great difference in a child’s education. Whether you are new to Avocado, or returning, my door is always wide open to you. Please stop in and say hello, or schedule a time to meet with me if I can be of any assistance.
