My name is Marisela Lopez, and I am an Extensive Support Needs Education Specialist at Johnson Elementary. I am a San Diego State University Graduate. I have worked closely with students who have learning, mental, emotional, or physical disabilities on academic material and behavior management. My passion is helping each student make progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor: A challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. In my spare time, I hang out with my dogs, listen to music, read, and watch documentaries.
