Hi! I’m Ms. Villalobos. I am a San Diego State University graduate with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts Degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Language Arts.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family in Oxnard and Santa Barbara, and picnics! My favorite snacks are gansitos, hot cheetos, y dulces de tamarindo.

My decision to become a teacher was fueled by the profound impact representation had on my own educational experience. Recognizing the scarcity of diverse role models during my own schooling, I felt compelled to fill this gap and provide students with relatable figures who understood their unique backgrounds and perspectives. By embracing representation in the classroom, I aspire to cultivate an inclusive learning environment that not only fosters academic growth but also empowers students to embrace their identities and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. I look forward to a year of growth, exploration, and memorable experiences together!
