My teaching career began here at Fuerte in 2000 in this very fourth grade position.  Over the years I have taught kindergarten-fourth grade and am so thrilled to be back in my favorite assignment for past several years. I have a passion for reading, and my goal is to inspire all of our scholars to be lifelong “wild” readers.  I graduated from San Diego State with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and I completed my master’s in Education at San Diego Christian College. I currently live in Fletcher Hills with my husband, Matt, and three of our four children, Aidan (16), Grace (16), and Ellie (16). Our oldest son, Ethan (18) is off to USC.  We spend our time at baseball and soccer games, gymnastics meets, hiking, playing at the beach, traveling when we can, and, of course, reading lots!
