Hello and Welcome,
I am Rebecca Scantlin. It is hard to believe that I have been teaching for over 25 years because the time has really flown by! I have been with Fuerte Elementary School for more than 12 of these wonderful years.
I enjoy teaching because every single day is exciting and unique. It is amazing to watch students grow academically, socially, and emotionally with each passing week. I cannot think of a more rewarding profession than being an educator.
When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with family, curled up with a good book, gardening or walking my dog.
