I am thrilled to be joining the Fuerte family this year as the 4th grade science teacher!  I received my bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego and my master’s from National University.  I began my teaching career in 2009 and have taught in grades 5-8. For the past 5 years, I was a fifth grade teacher at Lexington Elementary.  Science has always been one of my favorite subjects to teach, and I am excited to share my passion with your child through labs, hands-on experiments, and inquiry-based projects this school year. I live in Carmel Valley and I love to take advantage of the hiking, beaches, and the bike paths near me. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures.
