Hello my name is Cindy Hill.  I grew up in San Diego, graduating from Helix High School and then San Diego State University.  I earned my credential through San Diego State’s Mec Program. I’ve taught grades 1st through 6th grades, but have primarily taught 3rd. I have been working at Fuerte Elementary School since 1990.  

I have three beautiful children; Garrett, Brent, and Julie, who are my pride and joy. They all attended Fuerte.  My eldest will soon be married.  

Animals have always been special to me.  Our black cat, Shadow Hunter, is named for one of my families’ favorite book series.  I love reading and enjoy reading a variety of books. Sharing my love of books is one of my favorite things about teaching.  Especially when my students say, ”One more chapter, please Ms. Hill!” One of my favorite hobbies is cooking. I love looking through cookbooks and getting ideas.  I make cake pops for my family, friends, and class as a special treat.
