Hi,

My name is Erin Diggs. I am your School Counselor here at Naranca Elementary. I was born in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, lived in Texas but spent most of my years in Florida! Florida is my home! I graduated from the University of North Florida with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, minor in Education. I further my college career by obtaining my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. I worked with adults earlier in my career and when moving to California, I decided that I wanted to go back to school to get my Pupil Personnel Services Credential in order to work with kids again! I obtained my credential at California State University in Fresno. I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with all of our students so that they can become upstanding citizens!

I perform the following roles in order to promote positive development in academic, career, and personal/social domains: individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom guidance lessons, student observations, intervention meetings, responsive services, consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and other staff.

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, doggies, family, and friends. I also enjoy hanging out at the beach, running, hiking, and traveling!
